Therapy for Exhausted Bay Area Professionals
Ready to Stop Carrying the Weight of the World on Your Shoulders?
EMDR and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy in Emeryville, California
You’re in the right place.
I help exhausted men and gender non-conforming professionals to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and begin to feel like a whole person again.
Does this sound familiar?
“I’m tried no matter how much I sleep”
“I’m tense all the time”
“Everything feels like too much”
“All I seem to do is work, sleep, repeat.”
“I feel like I’m just going through the motions”
“I’m not finding joy in anything”
“My brain won’t shut off”
“I don’t know who I am anymore”
“I’m not like other people. I feel broken.”
You’re carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. On paper you’ve done well. Maybe you have a well paying job in tech or finance. Maybe you’re married. You might even have kids and own a home. It all looks good from the outside, but inside you’re drowning. You’re barely keeping it together.
You feel overwhelmed, lonely, unappreciated and uncertain how much longer you can keep going like this. You have no one that you feel truly connect to, have no “fun” on your days off work, and have lost touch with the people, places, and things that may have brought you some joy in the past.
Hello, I’m Tiffany (she/her)
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you are used to figuring things out on your own. You might be concerned about the potential of falling apart, being judged, or facing parts of yourself or your history that you’d really rather look at. That makes sense.
I want you to know is that therapy with me isn’t about forcing vulnerability or digging into every painful detail of your past. I meet you exactly where you are and do so with deep respect for how you’ve gotten through life thus far. I don’t believe that you need to be “fixed,” because I don’t believe you are broken. In our work together, we will utilize research-backed methods to harness your brain’s natural ability to heal and recover from stress.
I specialize in supporting introverted, socially anxious, what some may call sensitive men and gender non-conforming professionals to recover from anxiety, burnout, low-mood and traumatic stress.
I help my clients release the things that have been weighing them down so they can build real confidence, find a new direction, and soften the harsh voice of self-criticism.
Clients leave work with me feeling more connected in their relationships, more grounded in themselves, and better able to move through difficult emotions with clarity and calm.
This isn’t the end for you. It doesn’t have to stay this way.
Work doesn’t have to be the only thing you have in life.
You can gain clarity about why you feel the way you do and start to shift long-standing patterns in your relationships, nervous system, and sense of self. Healing is possible, even if it feels far off right now.
EMDR Intensive Therapy
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a highly research-backed therapy that helps people heal from trauma and distressing experiences by processing memories in a way that reduces their emotional charge. An EMDR intensive is a focused, short-term therapy format that allows for accelerated healing over the course of a few powerful days.
Ketamine-Assisted EMDR Intensive Therapy
KA-EMDR combines the deep processing power of EMDR with the expanded, flexible state of mind that low-dose ketamine provides, allowing clients to reprocess traumatic memories with greater ease and less overwhelm. A KA-EMDR intensive is a focused therapy format that allows for accelerated healing over the course of a few powerful days.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
Ketamine therapy as medicine involves using ketamine in a safe, controlled setting to relieve symptoms of depression, anxiety, and trauma by enhancing neuroplasticity and creating a window for emotional and cognitive healing.
